I am hoping you'll explain to me why this happens and what did I do wrong. I then thought that it has something to do with the filter slope and tried various options but it didn't seem to influence the result significantly. But as I see it, it would be a cumbersome process trying to isolate specific frequencies with only 3 knobs which are also locked to a specific frequency ranges. So I stuck a spectrum analyzer after the EQ and verified that there was indeed some content in the mids above the frequencies I was trying to listen to.Īnd then I put on a stock Ableton EQthree and rolled off highs and mids leaving only low frequencies and it actually managed to isolate them: spectrum analyzer did not show any content above the frequencies I was trying to isolate. I tried isolating frequency bands with ReaPlugs EQ, TDR Nova and even Voxengo SPAN (because it has an option to isolate frequencies) but I still hear frequencies other than those I am trying to zero in on.Īt first I thought that I am probably just not getting it right but I am trying to isolate frequencies in the range of 20-80 HZ and it just can't be that there are any vocals in there (which I am hearing).

Arturo and his sister Neyla are two skilled duelists with very uncommon decks and even less common powers. Regardless of the direction, sometimes I just don’t have an inside leg. Follow/Fav My little duelist: Thieves and Ponies.

Since its premiere in October 2010, the series has garnered a massive and curious fanbase among young male adults who identify themselves as 'bronies. I think it's a silly question, but could you please explain to me why is it when I am trying to isolate particular frequencies in a mix, for example, lows, I still hear some of the higher frequency content? I think I remember reading something about the EQ not actually cutting off the frequencies beyond the curve but attenuating them or something like that but it was a long time ago and I can't find that link and maybe the whole thing has nothing to do with attenuation and it's just me imagining things. I don’t know why, but my inside leg did NOT want to cooperate in the beginning.
